In all cookbook recipes, the nutritional value is provided. This is an inspirational recipe (which means it’s not cookbook-worthy but still very tasty 😉). Shawarma with Vegetables
In addition to all the recipes from my cookbooks, I’ve also prepared a delightful selection of recipes that aren’t cookbook-worthy but are still very tasty and simple! Including this delicious dish.
This recipe is delicious, simple, and quick, making it a delightful meal!
The Ingredients
- Seasoned shawarma of your choice
- Red bell pepper (diced)
- Mushrooms (sliced)
- Zucchini (diced)
- Eggs (to serve fried on the side)
For the Sauce
- Approximately 150 grams of Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic or garlic powder (to taste)
- A small dollop of mayonnaise (see for a delicious and simple recipe to make your own healthy mayonnaise)
- A small amount of erythritol powdered sugar (to taste)
The Preparation
Heat a little oil or butter of your choice in a large skillet and cook the meat until done. Add the vegetables in the last few minutes and sauté them until they are al dente. Stir occasionally.
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together while frying the eggs to your liking.
Divide everything onto a plate and enjoy!
