The well-known term “bullet coffee” comes from the United States, where it is a popular trend. It is coffee supplemented with butter and MCT oil. The creator of this coffee variation is health expert and biohacker Dave Asprey. He first encountered tea in Tibet that was enhanced with yak butter. Upon returning to the United States, he developed bulletproof coffee. Unlike regular coffee, it doesn’t have sugar or milk added to it, but rather butter and oil.

In its most common form (coffee), it’s delicious, but a chocolate milkshake made from it is even more enjoyable! 😋 And this way, you also get some extra healthy nutrients, which is always a good thing!
