What is keto bread?

For those following a ketogenic diet, the daily intake of net carbohydrates is typically limited to about 30 grams. This makes consuming regular supermarket or bakery bread no longer suitable, as these breads generally contain an excessive amount of carbohydrates. Keto bread contains far fewer carbohydrates than ‘conventional’ bread, making it suitable for consumption during the ketogenic diet. The ideal keto bread has less than 3 grams of carbohydrates per serving. Often, traditional flours or grains are substituted with alternative flour products made from nuts, seeds, and kernels.
